The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide strategic statistical leadership and drive scientific excellence across our clinical development portfolio. This is a high-impact leadership role supporting biotech and pharmaceutical clients from early development through regulatory submissions and approvals. The ideal candidate is a recognized statistical expert with deep experience in clinical development, a strong regulatory foundation, and a passion for leading teams and shaping business strategy.

 Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior statistical advisor to clients on clinical study design, development strategy, and regulatory submissions
• Lead the development of innovative and robust data analysis strategies across programs
• Provide strategic input into protocols and integrated analysis plans
• Anticipate and solve complex statistical and methodological challenges
• Stay at the forefront of regulatory guidance and emerging statistical approaches in drug development
• Mentor and grow a high-performing statistics team
• Provide strategic leadership for operations, quality oversight, and resource planning to ensure efficient and high-quality execution

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:   

• Doctoral degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or Mathematics 

Experience  

• 20+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical research organization (CRO) industry, including 10+ years of supervision experience.
• Direct participation in design, planning, conduct, analyses, and reporting of clinical trials.
• Direct participation in regulatory submission activities.

Skills  

• Deep understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies related to clinical trials and drug development
• Working knowledge of SAS and/or R
• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory guidelines
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation Range: $230K - $300K
